Saying No to Fear

“I sought the Lord and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” –Psalm 34:4

Today’s Word:

Lord Jesus, we come before your throne of grace and acknowledge you as the Prince of Peace, as the One who has authority to grant us peace that surpasses our understanding. As we look to You, please guard our hearts and minds. We bring our concerns, anxieties and questions to You and ask for wisdom. We do not place these things between You and us, but before You, Lord God.
As we look to You Lord Jesus, may our faces be radiant. We believe that Your perfect love casts out all fear, so we ask that You would pour out a fresh batch of Your love. According to Your word, we submit to You, and we resist the devil, so that he will flee from us. We resist the spirit of fear and intimidation that shows itself as anxiety and needling thoughts. We throw it off of us and our families, in Jesus’ name.
Father God, may the supremacy of Your peace come down upon us now. We thank You for the ever-present Holy Spirit, who is here to help and comfort us. Because of the virtue of the purchasing price of Jesus, we receive. Bless Your Holy name Lord God! Amen.
