“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.” -1 Corinthians 12:7-11
Today’s Word:
Listen my child, continue to be diligent to abide in Me. Lean upon Me. Press into your dependence on Me. As you grow in your abiding, your life will begin to shine; there will be joy and a holy fragrance that will attract those who are seeking life and freedom.
Consider My word, ‘But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.’ ‘For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life’.
There is a fragrance, a divine attraction that is released through your walk with Me. So, press into your relationship with Me. For people will be drawn to it; and sometimes repelled by it; but nonetheless you must be ready with the word of life. Ask Me for the gifts of the Spirit, and earnestly desire these things, for I tell you truly that the time is upon us, ‘Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.’
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 2:14-16 “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?”
Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship.”
