Today’s Word:
Did you know that if you force a smile, it releases endorphins, which are chemicals in your brain that make you happy? When you are really happy and smiling, the mechanism can work as well. The same is true for us with praise because it forces you and I to look up and to look out, because the Bible says, “God inhabits the praises of His people.” (Psalm 22:3)
I just want to give us this word, “Force out your song! Sing a new song! Sing along with one of your favorite worship songs, or open your Bible and sing out one of those songs in the book of Psalms. Hear the word of the Lord in Habakkuk 3, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vine. Though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls; Yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in God my Savior!”
We worship You Lord! We exalt You! We put our hearts together with You and say, ‘Be Magnified dear Lord! Be Magnified through our lives this day and release the gift of a new song to us, in Jesus Name, I pray, Amen!’
Scripture:
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.” -2 Samuel 22:35-35
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.” -2 Samuel 22:35-35
“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name! Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.” -1 Chronicles 16:29
