Proverbs 27:17

When Jesus walked the earth, He declared that the harvest was plentiful but laborers were few. The same is true today. Read these Bible verses and be challenged afresh to change things on your knees.

Prayer:

Jesus, You are Lord of the Harvest. I ask for a mighty move of Your Spirit to prepare, prompt and propel many laborers out into the field. I ask for spiritual awakening in the Church. Please keep us from squandering our lives so we will not be ashamed at your coming. Have Your way Lord of the harvest! For, ‘The grace of God appeared, bringing salvation to all men.’ Let this be an hour when You are magnified and Your blood sacrifice is satisfied.

I ask for a fresh release of signs and wonders among those laboring as missionaries. I call for the release of Your angels, to bring escapes from death. I ask for your conviction and repentance to come to every believer who is refusing Your call to missionary service. Jesus, I ask for a fresh release of foot soldiers and prayer warriors. I offer my life anew, that You would place me where it pleases You most. ‘Tis only one life, will soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.’ Lord, make my life count.

Scripture:

Luke 10:2 “And He was saying to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'”

Psalms 2:8 “Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance, And the [very] ends of the earth as Thy possession.”

John 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and [then] comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.”

Titus 2:11 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men…”
Psalms 115:16 “The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; But the earth He has given to the sons of men.”

Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise wins souls.”
