There is only one thing you can ALWAYS control
June 11
“I have lived by one crucial principle since I was 24 years old. I don't blame or complain about things like the economy, the government, taxes, employees, gas prices, or any of the external things that I don't have control over. The only thing I have control over is my response to these things.”
-- Jack Canfield
Take a minute and think about all the things you are stressed about right now. It would help if you just briefly wrote them down even if it’s just one word for each thing.
Now, look at the list and ask yourself how many of those things you actually have control over. For those things write down what action you can take to improve the situation.
Now, I guarantee that most -- if not all -- of the things you’re stressed about are things that you cannot control.
But what you can control is how you respond to those things. I don’t mean you have to put on a happy face for everything, but you can decide whether or not to focus on those thoughts and whether or not they affect your day.
Try it out today. I bet you’ll find yourself more focused, productive and energized than you were yesterday.
Make a difference today,
Love Clint
