IRAQ:
HONEY HELPS SOOTHE THE STING OF WAR
Iraqis are still struggling to rebuild in the wake of ISIS’ reign of terror. Among them are more than 200,000 Yazidi people who had to flee for their lives when the terrorist group invaded Sinjar. The Yazidis suffered through mass murders, the abduction and enslavement of thousands of women and children, and forced conversions to Islam.
Today, many Yazidi families who fled have returned to Sinjar. But years of upheaval have decimated the economy and destroyed the area's infrastructure.
Samaritan's Purse is supplying beehives and training in Jesus' Name to over 200 Yazidi families, providing them with a way to feed their families and rebuild their lives.
SHARING GOD'S LOVE IN IRAQHow sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Psalm 119:103
