Franklin Graham Update: OCTOBER 2022
FOCUS ON FLORIDA
Helping Survivors
of Hurricane Ian
Dear Friend,
I was just in south Florida with our team and saw the destruction from Hurricane Ian firsthand. The need is incredible. It's overwhelming for homeowners whose houses were badly damaged or flooded by the fierce storm. Many don't have the resources to recover on their own and have lost hope.
Hundreds of Samaritan's Purse volunteers are serving homeowners in three of the hardest-hit areas—Fort Myers, Englewood, and Punta Gorda—by tarping roofs, mudding out houses, and clearing debris. I'm grateful for these men and women who are serving as the hands and feet of Christ to help those who are suffering. We want them to know that God loves them and hasn't forgotten them.
I invite you to continue reading about our work in Florida in this month's digital newsletter. It also features our Operation Christmas Child project as we prepare to pack millions of shoebox gifts for boys and girls around the world. This year, we look forward to collecting our 200 millionth shoebox gift!
Keep ReadingSincerely,
Franklin Graham
