John 16:24 says, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”   Your joy will be complete. What an incredible concept! For many of us as believers, there is the life we lived before Jesus, and the life after.    A life without the Lord is riddled with holes and incomplete; a life with Jesus in your heart is the key to real, lasting joy.   Following Jesus gives us perspective, and His promises give us hope.   Don’t let joy be an afterthought in your life. Nurture it, plan for it, run after it, and let God’s blessings inspire you to seek more joy in your life, and to give it away.   Pray for joy.   Do something good for someone, asking nothing in return.   Don’t sweat the small stuff.   Forgive someone, and let them know.   Read a good book…or The Bible.   Pick up a cool Christian T-shirt.   Rake a big ol’ pile of leaves, then jump into them.   Bake cookies.
