Hi everyone,
In the dark of winter, after the joy of Christmas is diminished and we find ourselves back at the daily grind, we may feel a bit down. Remember the readings for this Sunday, God sees us and knows us, and through our baptism, God has called us to be his children. The risen Christ, present in God's word and sacraments in our assembly gives us a place where we may meet God. Then, gathered into Christ's body by the Holy Spirit, we become together the church of God, bearing witness to God's love for our needy neighbors and for all the world.
