Safe water is essential for good health, but one in four people in the world doesn't have access to this basic necessity. That's why Samaritan's Purse has water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects across the globe, including in Vietnam, Cambodia, Liberia, Niger, Mexico, and Ukraine.

When Hurricane Otis slammed into Acapulco, Mexico, late last year it severely disrupted the fresh water supply. The lack of safe water posed a tremendous threat of waterborne illness for hundreds of thousands. We quickly partnered with local churches to install several water treatment systems to supply up to 60,000 people per day with clean drinking water.

Your gift to provide safe water can bring wells, filters, and tanks, as well as latrines, hygiene training, and other essential measures to prevent the spread of disease. These projects also enable our teams to share about the Living Water, Jesus Christ.
