Sharing Hope and Hot Meals in Ethiopia

When fighting broke out in Tigray, Ethiopia, nearly 2 million people were displaced, including Genet. She lost her entire family to the conflict. Although the war is now over, her struggle to survive continues.

Only a teenager, Genet lives by herself in a tarp shelter and has no one to help meet her basic needs. Samaritan’s Purse identified her as one of the neediest children living in her camp and invited her to a food program at a local church. There she can get hot, healthy meals in a safe, Christian environment…
