2024 Back to School Supplies Drive

August 4-14, 2024

The Cathedral community is joining with Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ and the Episcopal Church of the Atonement (Capitol View) to provide backpacks and school supplies to youth in DC Wards 7 & 8.

We invite you to help in one of two ways: purchase backpacks and specific supplies and deliver them to the Cathedral on designated days and times, or, donate to Cathedral Cares directly using the form on the webpage.

Online Book Study: Braving the Wilderness

Tuesday, August 20, 7 pm

Belonging and connection are two key aspects leading a wholehearted, fulfilling life, but they are harder than ever to achieve in our fractured society. Join us as we read and discuss Brené Brown’s Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone . Along with a presentation on the chapters for the night, we’ll also spend time in small group discussion. Led by the Rev. Jo Nygard Owens, Pastor for Digital Ministry.
