Today’s commentary
by Caesar Kalinowski, Author, Transformed
Throughout the Bible, the Holy Spirit is the sending agent of the Church. He empowered Jesus while on Earth, he guided and comforted the early Church. And his indwelling presence transforms our identity into “sent ones,” literally missionaries. A missionary is not some special person who is sent over seas to faraway lands, but is everyone who claims Christ and has received His Spirit. God our Father sent Jesus as a missionary to seek and save the lost. With Jesus’ breath and commissioning, we too are missionaries sent to bring many back home to the family of God.
