Miracle in Italy: From the Brink of Death to Eternal Life
Dear Friend,
I've just returned from Italy, where I had the opportunity to meet COVID-19 survivors and many of the doctors who worked and prayed heroically to save lives through a Samaritan's Purse Emergency Field Hospital in 2020 in Cremona—ground zero for the coronavirus in Europe.
SPECIAL FEATURE: Helping to lift Italy's burden
As a result of this ministry, churches around Milan last month invited me to come preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A man named Claudio, who was desperately sick when he checked into our hospital and was healed by God through a worldwide network of prayers uplifted on his behalf, came to the festival where I preached and was among the hundreds who stepped forward and prayed to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. He said he was not one to pray by nature, until he experienced the love of Christ in the hospital. “I started praying from the love I saw,” he said.
I invite you to continue reading about our work in Italy and how God continues to use it today to impact lives in this month's digital newsletter. You can also read about how God is using our Emergency Field Hospitals in Ukraine to bring not only physical healing to patients but the gift of eternal life. And don't forget that next week (Nov. 14-21) is National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child. Pack a shoebox!
Keep ReadingSincerely,
