Dear Peter,

It's not easy for families to be separated due to crime and incarceration.

Family ties can be strained to the breaking point. At Prison Fellowship, we work to minister to prisoners and their families all year-round through programs such as Prison Fellowship Academy and Angel Tree. And thanks to your support, many families are restored!

As Christmas nears, our Angel Tree ministry is preparing to deliver Christmas gifts from parents in prison to their children who miss them. And while the gifts are delivered, children also get to hear about the Savior who loves them!

No matter what past mistakes their parents have made, to a child, they're still "Mom" or "Dad." Just read the notes I've copied and pasted below. They're sure to melt your heart!

Over the years, Angel Tree has become an integral part of our ministry to prisoners. So many caring people have responded to its mission of reaching prisoners' children with the love of Jesus, helping to break the cycle of crime.

Right now, thanks to a special $20,000 Matching Grant, your gift will be doubled to provide children of prisoners with an Angel Tree Christmas and bring the life-changing love of Christ to their incarcerated parents.

We hope to reach as many as 300,000 children of prisoners through Angel Tree this Christmas and bring the love of Jesus to their parents in prison, so please give as generously as you can.
