You Are Not a Wallflower This Week's EpisodeThis week, Pastor Bobby’s teaching encourages us and says the best way to become the person you were born to be is to do it for someone else. We are here to be salt and light to people who need it and when you recognize that you are the answer to someone else’s prayer, you get the answer to your own prayer in today's message, “You Are Not a Wallflower.” Our interview guest is Joshua Norwood, a singer and worship leader originally from Sumter, South Carolina, who most recently served at Saddleback Church. In the Spring of 2021, Joshua was hospitalized with Covid-19 for three months and given a 10% chance to live. He was also uncertain if he’d be able to sing again, but after a long road to recovery, he continues to use his voice to glorify God and inspire others through worship. Today, he performs “Way Maker” and is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. Then, Madeline Reynolds performs “Rooftops," accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra. Madeline graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a BM in Vocal Performance in 2020 and is attending UCLA for her Masters in Vocal Performance. Finally, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs a selection in Latin entitled, “Kyrie" from Poulenc Mass in G." |
