Dear ‌Friend,

It was a night of terror across Mississippi. An EF-4 tornado ripped through the Delta on March 24, cutting the towns of Rolling Fork and Silver City to splinters. Cars, trucks, and tractor trailers were picked up by 170-mph winds and thrown around like toys. Some houses are reduced to toothpicks.

Samaritan’s Purse rushed a Disaster Relief Unit to Rolling Fork and Silver City, and volunteer teams are already on the ground working hard in Jesus’ Name. We also deployed a second unit to Amory, where the same storm system spawned more violent weather. Teams in both places are helping people sift through the debris, remove trash, tarp roofs, and cut downed trees. ...
