This Week at Crossroads I 3.2.23

LENT SERIES  This Lenten series calls us to journey outside of our comfort zones and to embrace the unknown.  Following God can lead us to unexpected places which in turn builds our trust in God.  This week we will explore why not giving up is important when we are lost in the wilderness!   SCRIPTURE TEXTS   Matthew 4:1-2 HUDDLE/DISCUSSION QUESTIONS  What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message? Describe a time when God led you to do or say something unexpected. Did you follow God's prompting? If so, what happened as a result? The life of Jesus is the ultimate example of living fully surrendered to God’s will. What are some areas in your life that you have been unwilling to surrender—or re-surrender—to God’s leading? Have you ever fasted for a spiritual purpose before? If so, what did you fast from? What was the result of your time of fasting? Do you have an unanswered prayer that the Lord might be leading you to fast for during Lent? WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BLUE JEANS DRIVE  SUNDAY, MARCH 12, 2023 Donate your used blue jeans to support our Women of Grace Missional Community.  They are making quilts and blankets from all the jeans collected to give our our friends at Hope Women's Center and the Navajo Mission. You can bring your blue jeans on March 12 and leave in bin marked "Blue Jeans".   SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIP  MARCH 4th - 8th  This alternative spring break trip is an immersive learning experience to the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ.  Participants will engage in life on the reservation by serving the school, clinic, food and water distribution and worship life with House of Prayer.
