What do you think of this verse?

Hello Peter,  I’ve been thinking a lot lately about one of the most powerful promises of Jesus. It’s found in Matthew 10:29-31: “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” It’s easy to become overwhelmed by the challenges and difficulties we face, but we can find comfort and strength in the knowledge that God is always watching over us. Even the smallest details of our lives are known to him, and no matter what we may be going through, we can trust that He has a good plan for us. This passage reminds me of the old hymn “His Eye Is on the Sparrow,” which mirrors that message of God’s loving care: Why should I feel discouraged, Why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely, And long for heav’n and home, When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He; His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me. If you are feeling anxious or uncertain today, remember Jesus’ reminder that you are in your Father’s care. Take comfort in the knowledge that you are valued and loved by God, and that He will always be there to guide and support you. When you do, your fear and anxiety will give way to peace and security, and you can join in the hymn’s refrain:  I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free; For His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me.
