This Week at Crossroads I 05.04.23

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
CONCEAL vs. CONFESS

One of the keys to a vibrant Christian faith is confession. We all need to soberly assess ourselves and be open and honest about what needs to be forgiven in our lives. Rather than concealing our mistakes, let's surrender them privately to God or publicly with someone we trust. This is an act that can be awkward at first, but can become a regular practice as time goes on. A habit of confession keeps us humble and guards us from falling into sin that can hold us back.

SCRIPTURE TEXTS
Luke 18:9-13

CROSSROADS ON-DEMAND
SCAM ALERT!!!
It has been brought to our attention that many people are receiving emails claiming to be sent from Pastor Charles asking for gift card donations for staff or ministry.  The request is to send a picture of the front and back of the gift card.  This is a scam.  Pastor Charles has never requested anyone to give a gift card and simply take a picture.  When in doubt please email Kelly Dunlap or call the church office at (480) 849-24165.
