A short devotional for you

Hello Peter,  My grandfather, Dr. Robert Schuller, often spoke about a concept that has the power to transform lives in incredible ways. It’s called “possibility thinking,” and it holds the key to unlocking a world of endless opportunities and limitless potential.   When we engage in possibility thinking, we tap into the boundless creativity and resilience that God has placed within us. It’s about cultivating a mindset that sees challenges as stepping stones, failures as valuable lessons, and setbacks as mere detours on the path to success. Possibility thinking allows us to envision a brighter future, emboldening us to pursue our dreams with determination.   Peter, as I reflect on the power of possibility thinking, a remarkable creature comes to mind—the hummingbird. These tiny, magnificent birds exhibit a marvelous trait that we can learn from: their diligence and unwavering commitment to finding nectar. Did you know that hummingbirds visit between 1,000 and 2,000 flowers each day in search of sustenance? Many of these blooms are void of any nectar, but the hummingbirds never lose hope or become discouraged. Instead, they persistently move on, believing that the next flower may hold the sweet reward they seek.   In our own lives, we can learn from the hummingbird’s resilience. Just like this tiny creature, we, too, encounter countless opportunities every day—moments when we can choose to embrace possibility or allow discouragement to take hold.
