Free Livestream Event Next Thursday at 7PM!"Being Faithful to Christ in a Hostile Culture"
You're invited to register now for the Great Lakes Symposium on Christian Worldview on Thursday, July 27th @ 7pm EST featuring:
A disturbing trend is beginning to emerge. The Family Research Council published a study recently that identified over 400 “acts of hostility” to churches in the last five years: 137 of those events occurred during a six-month period last year. It’s well known that a Christian worldview hasn’t been culturally dominant for some time, but the difference lately is the increasing hostility and acts of violence being perpetrated on Christians right here and right now.
Despite increasing opposition Christians have a responsibility to remain faithful, even if it comes at a cost. At the Colson Center, we exist to equip Christians to live faithfully in this cultural moment. To do so, we’ve invited Kristen Waggoner and Jim Daly to provide practical insights on how Christians can prepare to live at a time in which Christian beliefs are increasingly held in contempt.
As one highlight of the Q & A session, participants will be able to hear an update from Kristen Waggoner on the recent 303 Creative Supreme Court case, including the media backlash and the importance of correcting misconceptions with truth and love.
Thanks to generous support from our donors, this event is free, and we would love to see you on the livestream! |
