How You Perceive Your Life
July 8, 2023

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

Holy Land - Capernaum: It’s About Faith
This Week's Episode

Pastor Bobby brings today’s sermon from Israel, at the synagogue in Capernaum. His encouragement is to exercise faith and take risks because we believe scripture more than we believe what we’re seeing in the natural, with today’s message: “Holy Land – Capernaum: It’s About Faith.” Born in Tel Aviv, Ron Winterhas been a licensed tour guide in Israel since 1982. His formal education includes studying archaeology and Israel’s history at the Tel Aviv University and marine archaeology at Haifa University in Israel. He also completed religious studies in Christianity, Judaism and Islam at Montclair State University in New Jersey, as well as attending the Religious Institute in Jerusalem. Today, Ron talks with Bobby about the history of Capernaum, including the three years Jesus lived there. Special music is provided by Anna Crumley, who sings "I'm Not Lucky, I'm Loved," accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. In addition, Connor Smith performs "Stand in Faith." Finally, the Hour of Power Choir, under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs "And Can It Be" with the orchestra and Zach DeChance on piano.
