Your Super Bloom Awaits July 29, 2023“Again he said, ‘What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.’” Mark 4:30-32 Due to this year's unusually wet winter, California experienced a wildflower super bloom. | Don't Throw Away an Amazing Tomorrow for an Average Today This Week's EpisodeThis week, Pastor Bobby’s teaches us from Genesis 25:24-34 and encourages us to follow the formula Jesus gave: ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be open for you, with his message, “Don’t Throw Away an Amazing Tomorrow for an Average Today.” Our interview guest is Dave Roever, a public speaker and author who was hospitalized for 14 months after a grenade exploded in his hand while he was on duty during the Vietnam War. Dozens of surgeries and years later, Dave took this devastating time in his life to start speaking all over the world to inspire hope and resiliency in others. He also started his own ministry, Roever Evangelistic Association, to let others know that they can overcome tragedy and be triumphant in life. For more information on Dave, go to daveroever.org. Special music is provided by the Hour of Power Worship team, featuring Sarah Grandpre, Natalie Gonzalez, Rory Deming and Tim Hall, who perform “I Will Rise, accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra." Finally, the Hour of Power Choir, under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs "The Lord Bless You and Keep You," with the orchestra and Susan Caudill on organ. We hope you'll join us for this hour of hope and inspiration! |
