Logos Tech Tip | The Synopsis of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles Interactive
You may already know that the story of Israel’s kings begins in 1 Samuel and continues through 2 Samuel and the books of Kings and Chronicles—with Samuel and Kings telling the story in one way and with Chronicles emphasizing slightly different things.
The Synopsis of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles Interactive provides an easy way to compare the differences in these accounts.
You can use it to look at a particular reference and its parallels, or simply to scroll through the story and see how it develops.
In the story of David’s census, for example, the interactive makes it easy to see that one speaks about the Lord inciting David while the other has Satan doing this. And later on in that story, you’ll see that Chronicles contains additional details about David’s sacrifice.
Let these and other differences uncovered by the interactive rouse your curiosity to study these books further!
The Synopsis of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles Interactive is available here and is also included in the Logos 10 Starter Feature Upgrade or higher.
