We are half-way through Advent so we are filled with joy as Christmas is now less than 2 weeks away and the "Light of the World" will be celebrated!
In the upcoming Gospel, John bears witness to the light that is Christ: "Among you stands one whom you do not know." Every Sunday celebrates the presence of the crucified and risen Christ in the power of the Spirit. This third Advent Sunday celebrates how Christ stands present with us all now, hidden in the midst of and sharing all human waiting.
