Pastors Corner Transition Team Announcement The Fall has been busy with the hiring of an Interim Pastor, Pastor Kaila Armbruster, and moving into our transitional phase of calling a new Pastor. We have formed a Transition Committee featuring 6 members of the congregation. Work will begin in January 2024, which will include creating a Ministry Site Profile (MSP). This will be done by holding listening circles with congregational members in order to assess where our church has been, our current state, and what we would like the future of Crossroads to look like. The MSP will then go to the Synod and hopefully a match with a pastor to our congregation. This process can take some time, both in creating the MSP and finding a good fit for our church. We have been assigned a Transition Coach through the Synod to help us with this process. However, if more guidance is needed, there is an opportunity to hire a Transition Consultant. At this time, we are moving forward with the help of our 6 member committee and the transitional coach.  If you have any questions, please contact any member of the Church Board or Pastor Kaila.   We are in the season of Advent. Advent is a season of longing and anticipation, during which we prepare for the coming of Jesus. The church year begins with Advent, as life begins with birth, starting four Sundays before Christmas.
