Today is Divine Mercy Sunday.
Do you love the message of Divine Mercy?
Have you prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, but desire to learn more about the Devotion?
Have you been searching for spiritual healing, or feel that God could never forgive you for a sin in your past? "My daughter, be diligent in writing down every sentence I tell you concerning My Mercy, because this is meant for a great number of souls who will profit from it." —Jesus Christ to St. Faustina
Sister Maria Faustina Kowalska was an unknown girl from a poor Polish family. She had only three years of basic education, but from the tender age of seven she had a deep yearning to become a nun. When her entry into the convent was documented in 1924, the Mother General reported that she was "no one special."

"To all external appearances nothing betrayed her extraordinarily rich mystical life. She zealously went about her duties, she faithfully observed all the religious rules, she was recollected and kept silent, all the while being natural, cheerful, full of kindness and of unselfish love of neighbor." It was to this "unremarkable" young woman that Jesus appeared. During the last four years of her life, He ordered her to write a diary, and entrusted to her His message of Divine Mercy. She was to become the "Apostle of Divine Mercy" to the entire world. Now, the Church recognizes Sister Maria Faustina Kowalska not only as a saint, but as one of the most outstanding mystics in the history of the Catholic Church. |

"Today, I am sending you with My Mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, present it to My merciful Heart. You are the secretary of My Mercy; I have chosen you for that office in this and the next life...to make known to souls the great Mercy that I have for them and to exhort them to trust in the bottomless depth of My Mercy." —Jesus Christ to Faustina Christ's Mercy is for you!
His desire to tell you about His Mercy was so great that he made sure St. Faustina wrote it all down. Through her diary, Jesus specifically tells us how He wants His most Merciful Heart to be adored, and how He longs to bring peace and forgiveness of sins to all who seek His Mercy. |

There is so much that Our Lord wants to share with you. "When a soul...realizes the gravity of its sins...let it not despair, but with trust let it throw itself into the arms of My Mercy, as a child into the arms of its beloved mother. These souls have a right of priority to My compassionate Heart, they have first access to My Mercy." The Divine Mercy Image
The risen Savior shows rays of light coming from His Heart, which was pierced by a lance during the Crucifixion. "The pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls...Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter." |
|
The Feast of Divine Mercy Jesus requested this feast to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter as a time of mercy for all people. "On this day the very depths of My tender Mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My Mercy...let no soul fear to draw nearer to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet." To celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, we are pairing Sister Faustina's diary with a life-changing retreat you can do from the comfort of your home. |
