Samaritan's Purse Rushing Aid to the Caribbean

Caring for Hurricane Survivors Across the Caribbean

Dear‍ Friend,

When Hurricane Beryl tore through the Caribbean last week, it left a path of destruction in its wake.

Give Now

Immediately after the storm devastated the island of Grenada, our DC-8 cargo jet was flying supplies and staff into the hard-hit area of Carriacou. Since then, we have airlifted more emergency supplies on multiple flights, set up one of our Emergency Field Hospitals in Carriacou, and expanded our relief effort into Petite Martinique, Union, and Jamaica.

The first patient at our Emergency Field Hospital was a man named Vincent, who arrived as soon as our doors opened. He needed treatment for his diabetes and high blood pressure. Our staff was able to help stabilize his condition and replace the medications that he lost when his house was demolished by the storm. “We have nothing,” his wife, Yamaira, said. “We thank you very much for coming and rescuing Carriacou. May God bless everyone.”

As we continue to meet critical needs in Carriacou and other areas, we are bringing with us something that is even more desperately needed—the message of God’s eternal love and salvation through the Gospel. These suffering people need to know that the Lord has not abandoned them in this dark time. Please pray for all those affected and for our teams as they work hard to bring relief in Jesus' Name.

Sincerely,

Franklin Graham
President, Samaritan's Purse
