Dear Friend, Earlier this month, I shared the story of my miraculous rescue from a surging storm drain. As I was walking home, I stopped to pick up a stick off the ground, and before I knew it, I found myself struggling to keep my head above the rising water. Suddenly, a figure grasped my hand with surprising strength, pulling me from the currents and restoring me to solid ground. It did not speak, but its serene presence conveyed more than words could. I knew that I was in the presence of an angel, but before I knew it, the figure had vanished as quickly as it had appeared. I remain convinced to this day that an angel saved my life! I do not doubt that angels walk among us, often unseen and unrecognized. Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians perfectly encapsulates this notion: "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). Walking by faith means accepting that there are forces beyond our comprehension, and it is this faith that allows me to embrace my experience as a genuine encounter with the divine. Faith is a deeply personal journey and my encounter with an angel has reinforced my belief in the extraordinary possibilities that lie beyond reality. To serve as a reminder to rejoice over the presence of angels in our lives, the ministry has commissioned the beautiful Rejoice Angel Ornament—the last in a series! This ornament symbolizes the divine intervention that saved me and the faith that guides me every day. For a gift of just $30 or more, the 2024 Rejoice Angel Ornament can be yours, today!
