This coming Sunday we hear about two widows, both of whom in their time and place exemplified the poor and helpless in society. In preparation for Advent and Christmas decorating and celebrating we are going to have a Cleaning Day at the church building after worship of November 17th. Please join us and dress down to help us clean the church building!    MEET GOD MEET FRIENDS Sunday, October 27 we had our Annual Meeting.  Following the meeting we had a Chili Cook-off and streamed the Arizona Cardinals game on the big screen!  We had an abundance of chili to chose from!  Congratulations to the Chili Cook-off winners!   MAKE LIFE BETTER Help support Harvest Share by donating items for their Thanksgiving Meal Drive.  Harvest Share delivers Holiday Meals right to the doorstep of shut-ins, low income families, and those with food insecurities in Florance and Pinal County.  Please have all donated items to the church by Wednesday, November 13.  Click here to learn more about Harvest Share! This month we have two options for Feed My Starving Children!  Option one is a mobile pack on Saturday, November 16 at Love of Christ Church in Mesa.  The second option is Monday, November 18 at the Feed My Starving Children permanent location in Tempe.  Attend one or both! Update on our October pack!   The meals you packed at our Tempe, AZ location on October 28, 2024 were shipped to: Misc Donation in Dominican Republic on Wednesday October 30, 2024 Precious children will be eating a nourishing meal soon because of you. Thank you. You've made an incredible difference. Did you know? Meals usually take between two weeks and six months to travel to their destination. It all depends on where in the world they go and how hard it is to get there. They cross the ocean by ship or plane and wait in line to clear customs. Then they journey by car, bike, canoe or even donkey to reach our partners. Many hands carry these meals to children and families in need. STATION COFFEE CO.
